The transformational capacity of meditation should not be underestimated. No only does regular practice shrink the part of the brain that regulates stress and anxiety, it also lengthens our attention span, improves sleep and decreases blood pressure (thanks to less stress). Most importantly however, meditation allows us the opportunity to develop a stronger understand of our Self, which in turn, assists us in making more conscious and positive choices which are critical for experiencing the life we wish to.
