Norma Wills - 9/9/2019

I came to the Happyness Center in May 2019, when I decided to take the Restoring Resilience Program, in order to get over my past issues and be able to recognize that it was something I didn’t have to hold onto anymore.

In addition to helping me focus and overcome past trauma, I’ve also found that the program helped me with my chronic pain. I suffer from arthritis but my most extensive injuries came from a car accident I had in 2007 which resulted in broken bones. I broke my neck, middle back, and right hip during the accident which led to me having chronic pain even after the injuries healed. Even though I still suffer from pain, I no longer have the same connection to it. I’ve released the emotional trauma surrounding the accident through meditation and energy work.

Since the program ended, I still do regular energy work at the Happyness Center. I usually go on a weekly basis but of course sometimes life gets in the way but because of the workshop, I can manage on my own.

Since the course, I’ve joined the board of directors for the Pregnancy Care Center and continue my work with my church, and I find I am much more active in my personal and professional life. My openness, positivity, and happiness has grown since taking part in the Restoring Resilience Program. I would recommend this program to others, as if they are open, it has the possibility to be tremendously healing and impactful as it was for me.
